Gain practical experience in acting, stage production, directing and other aspects of theatre to build your confidence and gain insights into storytelling and theatrical techniques. The minor consists of 23 credit hours.

Transdisciplinary Health, Sciences and Technology, Ph.D.

Format: On Campus

A Ph.D. program for a diverse group of health professionals, or those in health-related fields, focusing on transdisciplinary work that extends beyond the health fields specifically, including disciplines such as engineering and urban studies. By reaching beyond the strict confines of health fields, you will be prepared to think about your practice, your teaching, and your research in innovative ways that will better meet the needs of your stakeholders.

Twice-Exceptional Education, Graduate Certificate
Twice-Exceptional Education, Graduate Certificate

Format: On Campus

Designed for educators who want to specialize their skillset to address the unique learning needs of students who are both gifted and have disabilities. Core courses cover topics such as Differentiating Instruction, Assessing Instructional Needs and Conceptions of Talent and Disability, students gain the knowledge and skills to effectively teach twice-exceptional learners. You'll also gain insights into critical issues in the field, including the identification and programming for students with dual exceptionalities. The certificate program consists of 12 credit hours.

Urban and Regional Studies Minor

Format: On Campus

Explore the social, economic and environmental factors that shape cities and regions so you can contribute to analyzing and addressing urban challenges. The minor consists of 18-19 credit hours.

Urban Education, Ph.D.

Format: On Campus

Expand your skills as an educator through a rigorous and interdisciplinary curriculum that addresses urban educational issues. Tailor your education with specializations available in Counseling Psychology and Policy Studies and prepare to contribute to the practice and theory of urban education while meeting the academic prerequisites for a career in academia or professional practice.
