Explore a diverse range of American cultural topics through the American Studies certificate program. Gain a deeper understanding of a variety of perspectives on American culture, society, politics and history. Students must complete 15 or 16 credit hours in at least three approved disciplines. Requirements may be completed in one semester.

Applications of Geospatial Science to the Field Sciences, Certificate
Format: On Campus
Discover how geospatial science is used in fields like natural sciences, social sciences and humanities to collect and show field data on maps or similar presentations. Choose a capstone course for a more immersive experience. This certificate is a 12-credit hour program and four elective credits to build a strong foundation in geospatial tools.

Gain the necessary training and skills to perform analyses using the tools of geospatial science. Become a competitive candidate for positions in the field sciences including biology, environmental science, archeology and geology, as well as social science and humanities positions where gathering and representing field data in maps is required. The certificate program consists of six required courses and a research component.
